Why drivers stay with us

No surprises on the invoice. Ever.

Most people who walk in here have been burned by a garage before. Everything about how we work is built to make sure that does not happen again.

  • Quoted before we touch it

You get a written estimate with parts and labor split out. Nothing gets done until you say yes, and the final invoice matches the quote.

  • ASE-certified technicians

Every repair is carried out by a certified tech, not an apprentice left to figure it out. Ongoing training on hybrid and EV systems included.

  • 24-month warranty

Parts and labor are covered for 24 months or 24,000 miles. If something we fixed fails, bring it back and we make it right.

  • Same-day on most jobs

Brakes, batteries, diagnostics and servicing are usually done the same day. Drop the keys in the morning, drive home after work.

  • Loan car or a ride home

Book ahead and we will either put you in a courtesy car or drop you wherever you need to be within five miles of the shop.

  • Independent, not a franchise

No upsell targets and no head office script. We have been on the same corner for eighteen years and we rely on you coming back.

How it works

Four steps, and you know the price before step three

No car leaves this shop with work on the invoice that you did not agree to first.

  1. 01

Tell us what it is doing

Book online or call. Describe the noise, the light, the smell. Anything you noticed helps us narrow it down before you arrive.

  2. 02

    We inspect and quote

The car goes on the lift and we find the actual cause. You get photos, a plain-English explanation and a fixed price.

  3. 03

    You approve the work

Approve everything, part of it, or none of it. We will tell you what is urgent, what can wait a few months and what can be ignored.

  4. 04

    Repaired and road-tested

Every car is road-tested before it goes back to you, cleaned up, and covered by the 24-month warranty from the day you collect it.

Customer reviews

Eighteen years of word of mouth

We have never run an advert. Almost everyone who walks in was sent by someone they trust.

  • Two other shops told me I needed a whole new transmission. Redline found a failed sensor, charged me for the diagnostic and the part, and I drove away the same afternoon. They could have taken me for thousands and did not.

  • I have been bringing three work vans here for six years. They call before they do anything, the invoice always matches the quote, and they keep the fleet moving. That is genuinely all I need from a garage.
    MMarcus OyelaranFord Transit fleet
  • First time going somewhere that did not talk down to me. Rob walked me out to the lift and showed me exactly what was worn and what was still fine. I left knowing what I paid for and why.

Common questions

The things people ask before they book

If your question is not here, call the shop and ask for Rob. He would rather answer it now than have you worrying about it.

  • Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?

Booking is best and usually gets you in within two working days. That said, if something feels unsafe, call us and come down. We keep bay time free every day for brakes, steering and anything that should not be driven on.

  • Will servicing here void my manufacturer warranty?

No. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act a manufacturer cannot void your warranty for using an independent garage. We service to the manufacturer schedule, use genuine or OE-equivalent parts, and stamp your digital service record.

  • What happens if you find something else while it is on the lift?

We stop and call you. You get a photo, a price and an honest opinion on whether it needs doing now or can wait. We never add work to an invoice without your approval first.

  • Do you work on hybrids and electric vehicles?

Yes. Two of our technicians are high-voltage certified and we service hybrids and EVs including battery health checks, cooling systems, brakes and suspension. Regenerative braking means brake work is different on these cars, and we account for that.

  • Can I supply my own parts?

You can, and we will fit them at our standard labor rate. The one thing we cannot do is warranty a part we did not supply, so if it fails you would be paying labor twice. We will always tell you honestly whether it is worth it.

  • How does the 24-month warranty work?

Parts and labor on every repair are covered for 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Bring the car back with your invoice and we put it right at no cost. The warranty stays with the vehicle even if you sell it.

Something not sounding right?

Book it in and we will tell you exactly what is going on. The diagnostic fee comes off your bill if you go ahead with the repair.
